As we were driving today there were an unusually high number of exhaust trails crossing the sky from the jets flying over the valley. Izzie called to me from the backseat "Mom, look at all the scratches in the sky from the airplanes!" I thought that was a very perceptive way to describe them, especially coming from a girl in perpetual need of bandaids herself. :-)

Kids just say exactly what they are thinking and I often wonder why I didn't think of that first because it usually makes perfect sense! Such a cute comment!
So cute! I'm glad you wrote that down. I've decided that the British talk much like children do, everything is quite literal, ie, they don't say bathroom here, they say toilets. "Where are your toilets?" It sounds like something a child would say.
