Photo catch-up

I'm so behind. If you can imagine it, we're busy people. :-) And I'm kind of going through a blogging slump I think. I no longer compose blog posts in my head the way a good blogger does, but as this is my best attempt to journal our life I am going to try to be a little better. Sorry!

Audrey sported three different costumes this year for halloween. A princess for the playgroup party, a ballerina for the ward party (above), and a black cat for tricks or treats. I say live it up, right? It was very fun to pull her hair up into this little ballerina bun, and she really got into the play makeup. In fact, I found blue on her cheeks a few days later when we were headed to walmart. She's counting down the days until she can wear makeup every day for real, and her mother struggles still with wanting to wear it every day but needing to. It's a cruel irony.

Izzie and Erick stuck to the same costumes - Supergirl and Super Mario. Both supers, and both very appropriate. We never did get a picture of Erick with his hat on, nor a picture of his wedgie in his costume, but it will definitely be a one-year fit. Izzie loved being supergirl and very much fit the part.

Matt's got a toofer in there somewhere, but as you can see he's a little camera-shy with it. I'll get him eventually.
And we got an amazing package from grandma in preparation for our Thanksgiving fiesta! The girls opened the aprons, countdown calendar and treats and apparently were really talking about them all even later in the day, because my neighbor called that afternoon to ask what they were talking about that grandma had sent them because it sounded so cute! Gobble gobble!!!

I think Izzie should be a real chef when she grows up because she looks SO CUTE in an apron and chef hat!

That apron and hat is so dang cute! You and your mom seem to ooze the ability to put these things together - like your Christmas Count-Down you are working on....pretty much AMAZING!!
