One more fabulous use of our patio this season... it was still really cold but you'd never know it here! That's a kid who loves pumpkin guts...

Matt enjoyed the carving, and ate a few pumpkin seeds of his own. He didn't get to carve his own this year but didn't seem to mind. We felt fortunate to even get pumpkins this year - we've had so much RAIN most of the patches were flooded and there were images of rotting pumpkins everywhere on the news. I guess they pulled through, and although we bypassed the patches we did find some nice ones at the grocery store. And the kids still had fun picking them out.

All ready to trick or treat! Erick went with a friend in another neighborhood this year. It was kind of funny because I guess in his friend's neighborhood the people who live there rent large golf carts, like the 6-8 person variety, deck them out and drive from house to house. Needless to say he returned with quite a haul! The girls and Justin had a more traditional holiday and seemed to be fine with that because they went with our neighbors. Afterward we had some families over to our house for a little post-trick or treat party. The adults played The Great Dalmuti complete with silly hats while the kids watched movies and played wii. It was a lot of fun and I hope we can do it again next year!

Such a good looking bunch of kiddos! I know they get it from the parents that aren't pictured! :)
