Light Parade

Spanish Fork is such a fun city, and they certainly do a lot for families - most of them being things I didn't recognize until I had kids of my own. We were introduced tonight to one "new" tradition, the Light Parade! We bundled the kids up and spent an hour or so on Main Street while the brightly decorated and illuminated floats of all kinds glided by. When we first told the kids we were going to a parade they were thrilled and instantly equated that to bags of candy. Upon realizing that would not be the case with this particular parade they were skeptical. However, by the end of the night Erick swore it was the BEST parade he'd EVER seen! We sang Christmas carols in the car afterward, and I'm really feeling full-swing into the season already. Hooray!

I didn't even knew they did this. How fun! It looked so cold that I'm glad Erick thought it was the best thing ever. It's so fun to celebrate the holidays with kids!
