So I was looking tonight for a good marinara recipe and instead discovered a very fun blog I wanted to post and share (and a recipe, for a change! often I get distracted and can't even remember what I was looking for to begin with - ever happen to you?).

The subtitle to the blog is "A look into the future that never was." The author lists different forecasted trends or inventions that people thought would change the world, that never really quite made it. Some things are kind of close, but it was really fun to read through some of this stuff and wonder what our own world will be like, and how much our perception of the future is skewed by the limited views of our own present day. Anyway, it's much more interesting than I make it sound - check it out! One of my favorite ads is below with the caption.
