Halloween Costumes...

Well, we made it through, and are full-force into Thanksgiving and Christmas preparations at the Finlinson household! Thank heavens! Anyway, the costumes turned out cute, and the kids were adorable, so it was all good. Here are the pics I promised. Justin set up his study area for the evening near the door to hand out candy, and I got to take the kids around for the first year! Audrey "meow"ed for everyone all night, and Izzie and Erick traipsed through every leaf pile on every lawn. It was a beautiful night with great weather, and we all had a great time!

Me-e-e-e-o-w!

My blue-eyed ninja boy...

Samurai Isabel

I have a real weakness for furry halloween animals and each of my kids has been one at some point while I could still choose their costumes for them!

The whole crew

We've made a practice of lighting our pumpkins using small bowls of flaming rubbing alchohol to create a rather captivating effect.

The largest of the leaf piles! I have to smile at all the leaves I keep finding in random places throughout the house now. Funny kids! :-)

I love them!!! You are so talented Laura. I can't believe you made all of those in basically one day. I am amazed. Keep good track of that kitty costume. I think I may know of a little girl who would love to wear it next year!!

Your children look so content with life. For some reason, that brings me peace. It's pretty awsome that you get to facilitate so much of what goes on in their lives. My primary class still talks about Eric whenever I mention other absent class members - I remember that he gave the best prayers and was always excited when I brought treats. :)
