I guess it's in their blood, but the kids got a kick out of painting their snow fort yesterday while the weather was good... and like thier mom, they had a hard time deciding on just one color.
Did I mention this activity attracted ALL the kids?
What's the old saying - the only difference between men and boys is the size of the toys? The spray bottles were a little too wimpy for this boy... hope we can get the green food coloring out of the bug sprayer.

Love it!! That is so much fun. We had tons of snow here, too. We (fortunately) (or unfortunately) missed most of it. : ) I want to hear all about your house hunting in St. Louis!!
That's hilarious.
It might be because I could leave all the cold white stuff that needs to be shoveled and plowed and driven in as I flew back to Kentucky, but I was IN LOVE with the gorgeous winter wonderland we found in Utah. I didn't realize how much I had missed having a white Christmas. I took countless photos of just the scenery trying to capture how gorgeous it really was.
With that said, I am left wishing I had known about your cool idea of painting the snow when we were in town. What fun!
I got a good laugh from reading about the bug spayer. Genius! I'm am filing that away in my mind for future use!
