Fall Leaves!

So, if you're looking for a beautiful place to see the leaves, I know KSL and whatever other "experts" recommend the Alpine Loop, some places in Ogden, and all the site that I guess are more accessible to what they think is the total population of Utah. However, because only my friends read this blog I'll let you in on a little secret - if you're in Utah County, bag Provo canyon and head south to Hobble Creek. We've done them both now, and there's no contest. Maybe I'm biased because was just the perfect weather today or something, or maybe it was the ragamuffin gang I went with, but the canyon right now is really yummy and amazing, and you don't have to drive the loop - just take a picnic as far as Rotary park, set the kids loose on the swings, snooze to the sounds of the "crick" and enjoy the paradise.

Gorgeous! I asked my dad just today if the leaves were changing. I miss the mountains that those early changes you see high above you.

Lovely pictures. I'll keep that in my mental notebook for later. The last year we lived in Provo (2000) we drove up to Squaw Peak and it was breathtaking. I just couldn't take enough picture it was that lovely.

I was glad to see that even with the drought, the leaves are still beautiful! I LOVE fall!

That looks gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! I too enjoyed the creative message given to us.

What is the no make-up thing? I must have missed something.

I love these pictures!! We are going to have to take a drive up Hobble Creek. Your kids are so cute!! I would like to see the pictures, I am sure you have alot of funny ones. We had so much fun when we were kids, I wish Teyven had more friends in the neighborhood like I did. Do you remember when you gave Sam a bath with a bunch of strange things (Like food)?
