The Diva
I just overheard my two-year-old singing "Happy Birthday" to herself while she put together legos. I thought that might have been the tune and stopped to make sure, and of course she inserted her own name in all the appropriate points. I wish I'd taped it, in all its adorable poignancy but it was one of those impromptu performances I'll just have to remember, because as soon as it happened, it passed. Sweet moments. (And her birthday was months ago.)

She could call me and I'll sing it to her if she wants! Or she could sing it to me. I sure miss her.
LOL--I find myself singing that song to myself every now and then--maybe I should worry that I have the self absorption of a 2 year old :)
