SNOW, SNOW, SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!

We have really enjoyed the beautiful white Christmas we had this year, and I mean *really* white. It snowed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and intermittently since then. And it's been that really wonderful snow - large, lazy flakes that make the world outside our windows look like a real-life snowglobe. The kids also got sleds for Christmas, and yesterday was the maiden voyage at Rock Canyon Park. I got some fun pictures, and here are some of my favorites:
Erick's new sled...

Look closely, you'll see Erick sandwiched between dad and Audrey on the sled...

Big smiles from father and son... priceless!

Audrey's getting up the hill on her own little lift. Mush!

Big smiles from Izzie

This time the "lift" didn't work so well for Audrey

Up to the top again!

The idea now is to take Erick and Izzie skiing for new year's - wish us luck!

That looks like a LOT of fun.

Come try it with us sometime! It was enough fun I guess Justin decided we needed yet another sled. Now Erick, Izzie, and Justin each can have their own. ;-)

I'm a little jealous of your white Christmas. We miss the snow and all the activities that go along with it. Good luck with skiing!

What a perfect sledding day - now let us hope your skiing day turns out as well! I told Bryson that I can tell I'm older, because I'm too wimpy to go skiing on a really cold and/or snowy day --- I want the perfect day and perfect ski conditions before we go. Which place are you going to take the kiddos to? That is something else we are trying to figure out -- did you say Sundance has a free time or a free ski/rope tow for the kids?
Also, where did your post go about the talk on 'Women that Know'? I didn't get a chance to read it through all the way, but wanted to because I had also heard of the controversy, but can't understand that as you mentioned as well - well, except that sometimes we aren't as humble as we should be and don't want to hear the truth! I'm curious as to what other things they spoke about at the conference you went to - it sounds like it was great and I have thought that using a few of the Conference talks (that one will be included) are the ways that I want to set/make my goals for this new year. Fun, fun posts...we need to have a sledding activity all together I think :)
