He who has the most church quotes stenciled on decorative tiles wins.

Okay, so I've looked at this vinyl craze and have yet to decide on the perfect compliment to my home. Something that screams "I'm from Utah." Anyway, you've noticed too I'm sure that some are sweet, some that are cheesy and too, too many are just plain overused. So I'm looking for something new for my LDS home. Something catchy. I have to give credit to "New Cool Thang" for most of these ideas, but here are a few options to get your thinking caps going. I'd love to hear if you have any other suggestions you'd like to toss into the hat! You never know which of these will end up on a wall in our home next.

Honoring your agency means telling you no.

I never said it would be easy.

Obedience is the first law of heaven. The second is like unto the first.

It is always darkest before God opens a window.

I love you no matter how I treat you.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

Everything happens for a reason you couldn’t understand.

Return with honor; I’m holding the iron rod.

Save the cheerleader, choose the right.

Sacrifice. Just do it.

Men are that they might be giants.

There are no sins, only weaknesses and shortcomings.

Be still and know that I know what you did last summer.

Remember who you are; if you don’t already know, I’m not going to tell you.

The field is white, the sky is blue.

Find joy in the journey, right in the last place you left it.

Faith: knowing is half the battle.

These aren’t the members you're looking for.

May the force be with you after midnight.

With every fiber of my being, I know this is a home.

“Remember who you are, but don’t tell anyone on the internet.”

Or above the Xbox: “Idle hands are the devil’s playground.”

“What Wouldn’t Teancum Do?”

“Just because I don’t care doesn’t mean I’m not listening

Wickedness never was happiness, but it’ll do in a pinch.

“Has it ever occurred to you that perhaps the Lord just plain doesn’t care?” Boyd K. Packer

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. –Karl Marx”

God made dirt and dirt don't hurt.

A friend is someone who will help you move. A good friend is someone who will help you move a body.

or

The Church is true, the book is blue.

I really like "Men are that they might be giants." but they're my favorite band.

Hmmm...those are all really good. I can't decide which one I like best! It might sound silly, but I, personally, like Dr. Seuss quotes. I'm thinking about putting this one on my wall, "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind" or "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened" or "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dreams" or "Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You". And there are a a bunch more that I love...just google Dr. Seuss quotes. Hope that helps. Let us know what you decide to do!

Kelli, I love kids books, too. I got one today that says "Love you forever, like you for always, as long as you're living my baby you'll be." I love that book! These are more tongue in cheek, of course, although I do hold a soft spot for "Return with Honor, I'm holding the iron rod" and "Just because I don't care doesn't mean I'm not listening." :-)

Love the Dr. Seuss!

My personal favorite quote is something I sing to my children often it comes from a song sung by Melissa Manchester:

"Don't cry outloud keep it inside, learn how to hide your feelings. Fly high and proud and if you should fall REMEMBER you almost had it all"

Here is a link to Diana Degarmo singing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWKDsRLdhP4

I like the one that pokes fun of "every fiber of my being". Ha! So Utah...

I'm loving the Teancum one.

I have "PICK UP YOUR TOYS" (in really big letters) in my playroom, and it still doesn't inspire the kids...

Oh Sheila, I'm so sad about that because I think it's an awesome idea! Do you think it's the size that matters? Maybe if it fills the entire wall...

One of my favorites is:

"God made you, and He never makes mistakes."

I'm voting for:
"I love you no matter how I treat you."
