So, in all the excitement I did forget to mention Matt's a talker now! His official first words are "Uh-oh". I know, it might not be in the dictionary but I still consider it a word. Or two. He first repeated it the other day with Shelly here - something dropped and I said it when I picked up his toy. I thought maybe it was a coincidence. However, he says it now every time he falls over or when he drops something, and I've found it quite helpful to be honest. We didn't lose a single binkie at the store today because each time it dropped I got my very own "uh-oh" reminder to pick it up. It's really adorable. :-) Way to go, Matt!

Good luck with your house. It all sounds like a such a pain. We've had a few "surprises" with our house too.
