So, looking at that picture and comparing it to the one on the left taken one year ago I notice a lot of things have changed. But can you see one thing that didn't? Or rather, one person who didn't? As in one person who's wearing exactly the same dress again? (Well, she's wearing Izzie's, but still.) Upon returning home with holiday garb for the year I instructed each child to put away his or her clothes. I should have known better with Audrey but I got busy with something else and forgot to check up on her. Apparently she put her clothes in such a safe place we have now turned the house upside down and still haven't found them. We did, however find a dried-up cheese stick categorized with the scissors in the kitchen "junk drawer". I also came across the kids' soccer pictures from last summer, utility bills from our house in Payson, an entire box's worth of fruit snack wrappers behind the couch, the spare charging cable for my phone, lego darth vadar's helmet, my Crate and Barrel gift certificate from our wedding (no expiration!), a few random socks I'm certain have matches in the "lost sock" bag and Erick's wallet, chock full of change. I guess it was a fair trade. Anyway, more on our fourth of july festivities later, but although we had a lot of fun we're thinking of those friends and family far away and hope you had a great night, too!

What a cute family picture!! You guys are all adorable. How are things going? Getting into a groove yet? (I'm not, so no pressure)
Eh... what's kind of sad is we got into a sort of "vacation" groove even before we left because everything was in such turmoil, and although we're unpacked we're not really out of it yet. I guess it's a good thing it's summer because I think structure will be a thing of fantasy at our house until school starts. ;-)
