White Christmas

Looks like this year's offering to the snow gods has been accepted.

I love the snow, but hate that I have to run errands in it this afternoon. We've gotten close to 8 inches this morning, and I'm not sure how much since last wednesday!

Christmas vacation has been good to us this year. Justin spent Friday building the mother of all snow forts in the backyard. He used a 5-gallon bucket to do three layers of snow bricks, covered with pine boards and more snow, then sprayed down to ice it inside and out! Something only dads will do, and the kids (ours and the neighbors) couldn't be more impressed! I have to admit, I don't remember seeing a better yard fort, either. He's such a fun dad. :-)
