This week's Tuesday Tell-all requires we choose one picture that represents our life this week. Although we did have a great trip to Saint Louis and have had many wonderful moments, this seems to be the general feel for the month as I'm home with three sick kids today, up from the two I had the rest of the week. It's kind of crazy!

Anyway, we've used everything in this picture at some point during the past couple of weeks, complete with a bag of salt water taffys for bribes and the apples and stuffed animals for nutrition and comfort, and it's looking as though we may be headed back to the doctor again, as Audrey has one green and crusty eye today. No kidding. On top of the usual cingulair and inhalers for the allergies and asthma, and the needles and methotrexate for the arthritis, we've had varying degrees of the flu, colds, and the token ear infection. Audrey especially hasn't been sleeping well, although the ear infection belongs to her sister. Izzie's had fever and cries at the drop of a hat. Our diva, Audrey, has had her diva characteristics magnified exponentially. Everything MUST be just right, no substitutes.
Justin, while he hasn't been sick, has been struggling with a bad back since cleaning the ice out of the gutters a month ago. While water runs freely off the roof now, he's been on a constant regimen of ibuprofen although the pain seems to come and go. I should have included the heating pad and icyhot in this photo, too.
Hopefully the illnesses subside soon and we'll get a break in the near future, but in the meantime we're glad they're only minor afflictions and that we can wait out these cold days in a warm home!

Oh man, you poor thing! I'm so sorry you have that much sickness in the house. Being sick is the worst and taking care of sick kids is no picnic. (I say that with all sincerity. We just had to clean up Kimball's throw up two nights ago. Nasty!) At least you're not sick (yet).
Be grateful you're able to get all of that medicine. I swear it's impossible to find anything that works over here. They don't have tylenol, they have paracetemol and it's just not the same. I went to the store to get some cold & cough medicine for the boys, and I spent at least 10 minutes just trying to figure out what was what in their medicine aisle. It was like reading a foreign language. They don't have cold & cough or cold & flu. They have one medicine for one sickness. Like one medicine for runny nose, one for headaches, etc. They even have about three for coughs: chesty coughs, tickly coughs, dry coughs. Seriously, is that necessary?
I love your picture. I hope you are all feeling better soon.
Laura, Oh my! I am so feeling for you. That is a TON of stuff! Seriously, I don't think you could find that much medicine in my Kroger store down the road! I think you must be on the up swing of the illness and back luck. I hope the eye crust miraculously disappears, the achy back suddenly is healed and that Audrey finds her soft, cuddly side soon!
Get better soon! and Good luck getting through until then!
I hope your family feels better soon.
That's alot of meds, my first thought was.....I hope you're insurance has a small (or zero) pharmacy co-pay.
Hope things are looking up soon!
