Thanksgiving this year was a lot of fun at Steve and Andrea's house in Layton - their new home is beautiful and they really did a great job hosting this year! We were in charge of sweet potatoes and a dessert. We love a recipe for the sweet potatoes that calls for a pecan strudel topping that's heavenly, but with a nut allergy in our family we did one with marshmallow, too. To make it a little more special the kids helped me make homemade marshmallows to top the dish because they're a little extra gooey and stretchy when baked. So, here they are... moments after finishing breakfast Thanksgiving morning, licking sugary sweetness off the beaters. I guess that means the holidays have officially begun!

You have such a great house! Love that the kids helped you out and got to lick the beaters. My kids lick it once and then double dip it for another round. I have to be careful when we are taking thing to other people because they like to taste too much!
Hope your day was perfect!
