Tagged - 10 things

Okay, this was kind of a fun one, so here go ten things you may or may not know about me, quickly and off the top of my head:

1) I have this weird obession with not running out of things, so we all have two of those things deemed most important - toothbrushes, combs, etc. In fact, I didn't unpack after we got home from Lake Powell and didn't miss anything for at least a week, because I had spares everywhere!

2) I really hate folding and putting away laundry.

3) I hang shirts however they come out of the dryer - if they're inside out, they go inside out on the hanger. It's just something I don't do is change them.

4) I read all the owner's manuals to everything we buy. Justin thinks I'm crazy, but I feel like it's a waste of money not to know just how everything works and all the little frills to every appliance.

5) I like baking pumpkins in the fall, and making pumpkin recipes from scratch - pies, cookies, soups, etc. But we'll seriously have enough pumpkin in our freezer now for at least a couple of years when I'm done this year, because all I have time to bake right now are the pumpkins! And giving pumpkin puree isn't quite the same as offering up a pie.. but I love the smell in the house.

6) I love walking Erick to school and home, but don't do it often these days because I just don't plan for the time. We're usually running out the door at the last minute, the girls either still in their pjs or without shoes on, and then I stand there at the school reveling in the weather and vowing to leave earlier tomorrow so we can walk.

7) I married the Elder's Quorum president in my student ward, and it was a real fight to snag that one. He was in high demand! ;-) But I laugh today when people ask how we met, because it's so typical BYU!

8) I cried as though I'd lost a child the day I did the math and realized I'd never have 6 kids before I turned the dreaded 35. Cheryl, how's the twin thing worked out for you?

9) I miscarried once, and hope now I've completed my statistical 1 in 4.

10) I love my family and would rather spend time with them than anyone in the world. Even a trip to Walmart I'd rather take at least a couple of my kids than go alone. They're good shoppers and good company, and I am so lucky to have them!
