A work in progress...

Well, it's been a whirlwind, but we and a small army of people have re-roofed the home, cleaned and serviced the fireplace, installed new rain gutters, replaced and installed new light fixtures, painted the entire home inside, pulled bushes and trimmed trees, serviced the sprinkler system and carpeted most of the living areas. Oh, and tomorrow we'll install our new fireplace mantle and get the air conditioning installed. They've attached wires for iProvo, phone and cable, so we should have a phone number soon. We also have new windows ordered and are replacing all the interior and exterior doors. Hopefully this fall we'll pour a concrete patio out back and continue cleaning up the yard in time to get some grass growing in the places we're exposing once the cooler weather sets in. We still have some smaller projects, like changing out the "cream" colored switchplates and sockets for white, fixing the doorbell and hanging the new mailbox, but it's all really coming together and has been fun. Normally we'd spread this out over a period of time, but with Justin's schedule this fall at BYU we hear it will be a miracle in of itself to have dinner together, much less share major remodeling projects. But the house looks beautiful, and I'm getting really anxious to move in!
